Expression of Interest - Volunteer Campground Host

⁠⁠⁠The Shire of Exmouth invites expressions of interest to assist in operating the overflow campground for visitors in the recreation precinct. The facility has been put in place to meet demand when local commercial campgrounds are at full capacity.

The overflow campground is now open and a Camp host will be required from the 23rd of July for a period of 5 weeks. The Campground Host must be available for the 5-week period. Depending on demand there is a possibility of extension. The Campground Host will be offered a powered camp site however the Campground Host must provide their own caravan or tent etc. This opportunity would suit a couple however this is not essential.

The Campground Host is required to reside on-site and be available to meet and engage with visitors between 4:30pm-7:30pm daily.

The Campground Host responsibilities include, welcome after-hours visitors, liaise with the Visitors Centre team to communicate arrivals and report any urgent issues to the relevant area.

Experience in customer service, complaint management or prior camp servicing will be highly
regarded.

Access to a mobile device with internet and email access is essential.
