ASIC is seeking a Cyber Security Business Analyst for a period of 1x12 months with 1x12 month extension options required to deliver a program of work for the Cyber uplift project.

The Cyber Security Business Analyst will be required to:
•Work proactively with the IT security team on range of security related projects to uplift existing IT security governance, threat detection, response and recovery and other rationalisation initiatives.
•As part of working for those cyber security related projects, you will work closely with business subject matter experts (SMEs) and IT security and development teams to elicit and analyse business requirements to discover the underlying business need to be addressed and information related to the product and project requirements, through
•structured conversations and workshops with stakeholders.
•Specify requirements and user stories (business, functional and non-functional) documenting the requirements and acceptance criteria in a format that can be shared with, and easily understood by a variety of stakeholders.
•Specify any other related documentation that may be required by the projects such as RFQs, SoWs, or process maps etc.
•Cyber Security principles and Australian Cyber Security Strategy
•You will be required to facilitate workshops with various stakeholders to elicit requirements and guide relevant stakeholders to the Cyber Security principles/challenges that arise as part of these workshops
•Display strong skills in managing your own tasks and performance to deliver on ASIC's strategic priorities and team business plan.
