Teacher Practicing Certificate Fees - Paying by Instalment

⁠⁠⁠The Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand l Matatū Aotearoa (the Council) would like to understand if implementing a “pay by instalment” option for teacher Practising Certificate fees is technically, economically, and legally feasible.

The Council currently is not able to offer payment by instalments to most teachers. The Council would like to understand how best to offer all teachers the flexibility and convenience of paying fees in instalments (weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly etc.) for practising certificate fees while minimising the upfront and ongoing costs to support this.
