Expression of Interest - Livestock Carrier / Storage of Impounded Livestock

⁠⁠⁠ABOUT THE CITY OF LAKE MACQUARIE.
Lake Macquarie is one of the fastest growing cities in the Hunter, and one of the largest cities in New South Wales. Lake Macquarie's population is fast approaching 200,000 and is the Hunters largest city, accounting for 37% of the Lower Hunter population. Lake Macquarie is the fourth most populous city in NSW, and the eighth most populous city in Australia and the population is expected to grow by 60,000 to 70,000 people over the next 25 years, which will create a demand for 36,500 new dwellings.

ABOUT THE REQUEST FOR TENDER:
Lake Macquarie City Council is seeking appropriately qualified suppliers to provide the following services
1. Collection of stray stock handed over by Rangers/ Police
2. Transport to specified holding yard
3. Ability to hold animals up to 14 days
4. Transport to auction
5. 24-hour availability.

BRIEFING SESSION;
No briefing session will be held.

EOI_05_2021 registering via the etendering portal free of charge.

ENQUIRIES:

Completed responses can be submitted via the electronic tender box, by facsimile transmission to (02) 4958 7257, or in a sealed envelope. The envelope is to be endorsed with the Tender number, title, and closing date and can be mailed or placed in the Tender Box located in Councils Administration Building, Ground Floor, 126-138 Main Road, Speers Point by the nominated time and date.

TENDERERS TO NOTE:
Outcome of this EOI_05_2021 - Suppliers may be invited to participate in a formal procurement process to supply Livestock carrier / storage of impounded livestock services.

Council emphasise that responding to this EOI_05_2021 does not in any way bind Council to ultimately award a contract, and Council accepts no responsibility for any expenditure, costs incurred or arrangements entered into by you to respond to EOI_05_2021.

CLOSING DATE AND TIME:
EOI_05_2021 closes at 2.00pm on Wednesday, 9 June 2021 (Australian Eastern Standard Time AEST or Australian Eastern Daylight Time AEDT whichever is applicable in NSW at the time of tender close). Any application received after the closing date may not be considered.
