Tender Description

Queensland Government is seeking applications from Suppliers who wish to register to be a Preferred Supplier for Grocery, Dairy and Beverage Products. This is a follow on from the initial application request period released on QTenders in March 2021 (HSQ101256). As part of this Preferred Supplier Panel we are accepting supplier applications at any time. Suppliers who have submitted an application via the initial registration process (HSQ101256) do not need to resubmit an application.

The Preferred Supplier Panel categories include:

Grocery Products Dry Goods

Biscuits; baking mixes and supplies; flour and milled products; soups; stocks; powders; packaged desserts; savoury snacks; confectionary; nuts; grains; legumes; jelly; spreads; jams; preserves; sugar; sweetener; dry pasta; rice; noodles; cereals; oats; porridge; pulses; seasoning; dried herbs; spices; sauces; dressing; canned goods; vinegar; condiments; dried fruit; dried vegetables; fruit cups pureed fruit.

Frozen Goods

Meat; poultry; fish and seafood; vegetables; fruit; pies; pastries; cakes; generic prepared frozen meals; muffins; desserts, ice cream and convenience foods.

Miscellaneous

Packaged (chilled or dry) smallgoods such as sliced meats, fats and oils; butter; margarine; eggs and egg products; tofu; hommus.
Dairy Products All milk products (such as white milk; flavoured milk; specialty milks (soy, Ultra-high treatment and lactose free milk); long life milk; powdered milk; evaporated milk; condensed milk; buttermilk); yoghurt; custard; cream; sour cream; cheese

Beverages Tea; coffee; chocolate powders; juice; cordial; spring water; soft drink; sports drinks.

The following Categories of ‘Groceries, Dairy and Beverages’ are excluded:
•Fresh Food (Vegetable, Meat and Bread Products)
•Texture modified foods
•Prepared meals for Therapeutic Diet Requirements of Texture Modified Diets
•Thickened fluids
•Kitchen Consumables
