The successful Service Provider will provide a strategic sourcing capability to deliver value for money outcomes for Health’s sourcing program of work across the entire sourcing lifecycle.

Specifically the required resources will undertake the following key activities:
• Provision of the strategic Sourcing and procurement advice
• Review the detailed ICT Sourcing Plan and Roadmap
• Update the ICT Sourcing Plan and Roadmap as required.
• Develop the relevant RFx documentation (Requests for Information (RFI)) or Requests for Proposal (RFP)) including statements of requirements for Delegate approval
• Run and manage the RFx process
• Set up a strategic sourcing process to ensure compliance with commonwealth and department’s procurement rules, standards and processes
• Manage and participate in the evaluation process including collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SME) to ensure clear roles and responsibilities in the evaluation process
• Support the Sourcing Team SMEs with analysis of the RFx requirements and responses and help drive a decision that meets ITD’s strategic objectives
• Work with contract management to ensure the risk is mitigated
• Assist with the transition process if required
• Provide ongoing contract management capabilities as required
