Coastal Fox Control (CQ)

⁠⁠⁠GRC seeks to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced business on a Preferred Supplier Arrangement (PSA) to provide the following services to reduce the turtle nest predator rates:

• Active and inactive fox den detection, through use of a trained scent hound accompanied;

• Active den fumigation, utilising approved “Den-co-fume” fox den fumigant;

• Advising Council on the best GPS locations for Council to install traps;

• Covering, caving in or otherwise filling the entry to dens to prevent fox nesting;

• Providing the opportunity for Gidarjil Development Corporation (“Gidarjil”) rangers to accompany the Contractor, where requested by Gidarjil;

• Enabling Council to film educational demonstrations while undertaking works, including with a trained scent hound; and

• Collecting, collating and providing Council with data, in the form required by Council.

Selection for a PSA gives no guarantee or representation as to the volume or value of orders to be issued by GRC.
