Two Business Support Officers – Remote and Rural (one each in Sydney and Darwin)

⁠⁠⁠This requirement is for two Business Support Officers (one each based in Sydney and Darwin) in support of the department of Agriculture, water and the Environment’s knowledge, technology, information and security strategies, including the associated delivery on its ongoing corporate responsibilities and planned/ad-hoc IT-specialist services requirements.

The Specified Personnel will work as part of a blended APS/contractor environment within the Department’s Information Services Division, and will work collegiately and collaboratively with internal/external stakeholders as required under the direction of the Responsible Officer.

Sydney-based services are to be delivered to Building 28, Best Avenue, Mosman in New South Wales. Darwin-based services are to be delivered to the Department of Agriculture, Water and the Environment Building, corner Pederson Road and Fenton Court, Marrara in the Northern Territory.

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

Sydney Business Support Officer
- Device Management and provisioning (phones, laptops, tables, mobile data)
- Asset Management
- Desktop Support for Sydney Harbour Federation Trust and Sydney CPO
- Support for regional sites

Darwin Business Support Officer
- Device Management and provisioning (phones, laptops, tables, mobile data)
- Asset Management
- Desktop Support for Darwin and Parks Australia sites

All services must be provided to stated specifications and to a high professional standard. Ongoing performance monitoring and feedback applies, noting the Time and Materials nature of this engagement.
