Redclyffe Refuse Transfer Station - Registrations of Interest

⁠⁠⁠We need a capable and competent service provider to provide operational management at our Redclyffe refuse transfer station in Napier. Key services include:

• the day-to-day management of the recycling, pit, and green waste areas.
• proactively diverting recycling and reusable items from landfill.
• customer service and education onsite.
• haulage of refuse to landfill at Omarunui, green waste to Pan Pac and BioRich, and steel and recycling.
• general site tidiness and upkeep.
• grounds, and site maintenance, and management.
• reporting in accordance with the Waste Minimisation (Information Requirements) Regulations 2021.

To deliver on what we need, the service provider will need to have access to critical plant and equipment that may include the following:

• bulk haulage truck and trailer units.
• loader/s to operate in the pit area.
• digger/s with a grapple arrangement for green waste handling.
• all-terrain forklift.
• receptacles for waste handling and recycling provision.
