Moore Park Beach - Design Package 1

⁠⁠⁠TEN1225 - Moore Park Beach - Design Package 1 seeks to engage a Primary Consultant, in accordance with AS4122-2010 – General Conditions of Contract for Consultants to undertake the detailed design of Design Package 1, consisting of elements of the previously developed masterplan for Moore Park Beach, identified as Moore Park Beach Spaces and Places.

The successful Consultant is to use the Moore Park Beach Spaces and Places Masterplan to prepare concept sketches of options for the site. Following Council's selection of a preferred option they will be required to prepare Concept, Preliminary (30%), 50%, 90% (For Tender) and For Construction designs and documentation for Design Package 1 of the Moore Park Beach Masterplan. The Consultant is to include capital cost estimates at each design development milestone. The designs are to be sufficiently developed to incorporate into a traditional construct only tender package for issue by Council.

The Principal Consultant is required to undertake full coordination of all disciplines, including all drawings, schedules, specifications, reports and documents at each phase of the project, this is to include any required services, plant and infrastructure.

This Contract is for the engagement of a single lead agency with possible consortium or sub-consultant arrangements. Where the provision of services relies on several business entities performing different roles to achieve the deliverables, Council will only engage with the lead agency as the Principal Consultant. Any agreements between the sub-agencies will be directly with the Principal Consultant and not with Council. Any consortium style solutions that involve multiple businesses should have a clearly articulated structure identified in the consultant’s response
