Licence Opportunity - Towradgi Community Hall

⁠⁠⁠Wollongong City Council is inviting not-for-profit community groups to express interest in becoming the licensee of Towradgi Community Hall.

The hall is located on the corner of Moray and Towradgi Roads, Towradgi.

As licensee, the successful community group can use the facility for their own programs and services. They will also be required to manage and operate the building on behalf of Council, and make sure it can be accessed or hired by other groups and individuals.

Council's aims for Towradgi Community Hall are:

• For it to be a multipurpose community facility with a focus on providing community support, educational, social and cultural activities.
• That it be a community facility available for use by other groups and individuals, not just the licensee.
• That the current occupant organisation and hirer groups retain their existing use of the facility.
• That the hall be managed by a community-based group / organisation on behalf of Council. Ideally this group should be able to provide generalist community services to the local community.
