The BHROIP Project (Mackay Section) scope includes installation of ITS devices across approx. 70 Sites along the Bruce Highway in The Mackay Whitsunday Main Roads District area.

It involved the installation of various ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems) components, including: Large permanent Variable Message Sign structures (VMS), Wireless Traffic Sensors (WTS), Closed Circuit TV cameras (CCTV), Active Advance Warning Signs (AAWS), Flood Monitoring Systems (FMS), And includes various civil and widening works to provide shoulder widenings, install guard rail, build earth pads, provide footings, concrete pads, power supply conduits and pits, switchboards, and minor signage works that relate to the ITS components.

The specific scope of this Electrical Subcontract Package is for Electrical and associated works including but not limited to the following:

• Provision for traffic
• Supply and installation of electrical cabling of various sizes into underground conduit and pits (the pits, conduits, footings done by others)
• Standing of (erection), and associated installation process of road lighting type poles (the actual CCTV, WTS, AAWS pole mounted devices)
• Standing of (erection including boring or other requirements) and installation of mains power poles, and associated overhead wiring, including mains connection
• Installation of cabinets and wiring associated with the above pole installations
• Complete as constructed documents
• Installation of ITS components and associated hardware, Wireless Traffic Sensor, CCTV, etc as noted in the descriptions in the schedule.
