Urban Water Main Renewal 2020/21

⁠⁠⁠South Taranaki District Council (STDC) propose to renew pipeline along Wirihana Road and Ketemarae Road. The existing pipelines are 375mm Dia uPVC and are not providing the current required levels of service. These pipes will be abandoned in situ however some sections will need to be cut, removed and disposed of at an approved landfill facility. All required Health Safety and legislative protocols to be strictly adhered to.

The project is to supply and installation of approximately 2015 metres of DN560 PE100 PN16 SDR11 HDPE pipe from Wirihana Road / 1.575 up to the junction at Ketemarae Road, then connect to the PRV Station at Ketemarae Road.

The contractor shall also supply all pipes, fittings, air valves, scour valves, valves, hydrants, surface boxes, service laterals and connection to existing property kits etc. as detailed on the drawings and listed in the Schedule of Quantities.
