Tender Description
This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
Broad responsibilities
1. Maintain an ICT security framework including, policies, plans and procedures and raise awareness of information security issues with the business system owners.
2. Provide regular reporting on cyber security and meet internal and external reporting obligations to required governance bodies.
3. Independently identify appropriate security risk mitigation measures in the development and delivery of ICT projects.
4. Liaise with external vendors in undertaking security assessments and/or penetration testing
5. Conduct ICT vulnerability assessments (based on external feeds and internal feeds via Tenable Nessus), take actions to mitigate threats, remediate vulnerabilities and escalate to the ITSA as appropriate.
6. Ensure and monitor security for systems (via Splunk), including the application of ACSC’s essential eight, respond to and investigate sensitive and complex cyber security incidents.
7. Assist the ITSA in managing incidents that could lead to potential data or privacy breaches.
8. Promote and implement suitable ICT Security policies and protocols as required by the AIHW.
9. Assist the ITSA on potential solutions to meet business security issues.
10. Work collaboratively with the Enterprise Architecture/Institute projects in developing solutions that are secure by design.
11. ICT Security issue resolution/advise/escalation via the service centre tool as part of BAU.
