Northern Beaches Council administers an area of 254 square km with over 271,000 residents on Sydney's northern beaches. As an indication of the extent of the Works, Council maintains a stormwater asset base which includes 594kms of stormwater pipes, 13kms of culverts, 30 km of concrete open channels, 27,803 stormwater pits, and 239 water quality devices.

Tenderers may apply and be selected for more than one sub panel. To qualify for inclusion on the Panel, Tenderers are required to respond satisfactorily to this Request for Tender (RFT) and be evaluated as a preferred Tenderer for inclusion in one or more of the sub panels as required by the Council. Tenderers must complete the Schedules and their Tenders will be evaluated in accordance with the evaluation criteria set for this tender.

Tenderers will need to demonstrate they have the necessary qualifications, ability and experience to provide the required services to Council. Council requires the provision of the Works over a range of stormwater activities as listed above.
The works are to be carried out strictly in accordance with the requirements in this document. To have tenders considered, contractors will need to ensure that all required information requested in the RFT document is provided.
The Contract term will be 3 (three) years, with an extension at Council's option of a further 3 (three) periods of 12 (twelve) months.
