Murray Bridge Regional Rowing Centre - Management of Function Centre

The Rural City of Murray Bridge invites tenders from Tenderers for the provision of an Expression of Interest for the Management of the Function Centre at the Murray Bridge Regional Rowing Centre.

Within the Murray Bridge Regional Rowing Centre facility is a Function Centre comprising brand new bar and cafe, full commercial kitchen, and toilet and change facilities. External to the function centre is a proposed leased area that could be utilised for functions, social gatherings, and al fresco dining.

The term of the Lease will be for a period of two (2) years, commencing approximately May 2022 and concluding on 30 April 2024, with one (1) right of renewal of three (3) years at the express discretion of the Council, subject to satisfactory performance and subject to annual financial year budget adoption, taking total potential expiry to 30 April 2027.

Council is however open to discuss various options for tenure with the successful proponent to ensure the most commercially viable opportunities are identified including a commercial rate that is agreeable to both parties. In the EOI, Council is keen to understand the proponents’ thoughts in relation to a commercial rate for both the Function Centre and outside leased area, and the way in which the relationship with the Rowing Club will be nurtured.
