Tender Description
As a pre-qualification for Design & Construction of two (2) new Aid to Navigation structures (AtoNs) located on Dart Island and in the Clarence River and demolition and removal of the two existing AtoNs interested parties are required to complete a Confidentiality Deed to progress to a Private Tender.
The successful Contractor will be required to
- Be a Maritime Contractor with a minimum of 5 years experience in the field of AtoN construction with fleet vessels and plant that are suitable and available for the work located within Clarence River and on Dart Island, Yamba.
- Attend the mandatory pre-tender site visit, scheduled for 24 May 2021 (date and time to be confirmed), including a visit to the locations of AtoNs 14 & 21 and relevant surrounding areas within the Port of Yamba. The Tenderer is to notify Port Authority of their attendance at the visit before 5:00pm on 19 May 2021.
- Complete all works required to design and construct two new AtoNs and demolish and remove from site the two existing AtoNs in their entirety, by end of February 2022 or as agreed by Port Authority.
The Confidentiality Deed Poll is required because the full RFT document includes a report prepared by a third party. On return of the signed Confidentiality Deed and acceptance by Port Authority.
