Request for Quotation - Schedule of Rates for Line Marking (R145), Retroreflective Raised Pavement Markers (R142), and Audio Tactile Linemarking (TTD 2020/04)
Junee Shire Council seeks suitably qualified and experienced Contractors to provide a Quotation via Local Government Procurement (vendor panel) for the whole of the works as detailed in the attached documentation. Suppliers are required to provide evidence of their abilities to undertake relevant testing and measurement prior to starting work to determine treatment types (e.g., BB/BS vs S1 for crests and curves).
Please note that Junee Shire Council will appoint a Principal Contractor to deliver the listed works and be offered first option to deliver additional works. In order of evaluation, other contractors will be added to a panel of suppliers and offered additional works throughout the contract period, if required.
A schedule of treatments (2021/22) has been developed for the purpose of deriving rates from suppliers. Suppliers must enter indicative rates for the requested treatments.
A 70km program has also been developed for September 2021. Suppliers must provide a tender/quotation for this project to be completed from September 2021. Further projects that will be completed through the year are outlined below.
Junee Shire Council reserves the right to reduce or increase the scope of works prior to commencement, and during the works/financial year to meet budgetary obligations.
Timing for the works for will generally be:
1. 70km program as per schedule for tender – September to October 2021
2. Linemarking reseals – November 2021 to April 2022
3. Linemarking new works / rehabilitation – Throughout the financial year 2021/22
All works are to be carried out to TfNSW specifications pertaining to road delineation works. All works are to comply with current NSW Regulations for Work Health and Safety. Evidence of compliance is required for all works prior to commencement.
Traffic Guidance Schemes, Vehicle Movement Plans, SWMS, Workers on Foot Movement Plans, and Separation of People and Plant Plans are also to be provided prior to commencing works. Please note that the traffic control contractor engaged by the applicant must be registered with TfNSW for:
Category G Provision of Traffic Control
The successful Contractor shall be required to hold and maintain suitable Public Liability insurance, Workers Compensation insurance, and all other relevant insurances.
Copies of all documents and test results utilised during the course of the works are to be made available on request.

The contract will be initially signed for one year. Council will extend the contract for another two years (in one-year lots), based on the assessment outcome of contractor’s performance and the rates at the end of each year.
