Tender Description
The City of Holdfast Bay (on behalf of the SA Local Government Grants Network) seeks to engage a consultant to develop a Best Practice Guide for Grants Management for Local Government in South Australia. The purpose of the Best Practice Guide for Grants Management for Local Government in South Australia is to:
- Advocate to achieve better outcomes for the South Australian local government sector grant administrators to engage consistent practices for grant attraction and grant giving.
- Assist local government to build capacity and increase sustainability through integrated and coordinated best practice in both grants attraction and the grant making administration cycle.
- Provide good practice, tools and resources for use by grant program managers for efficient management of the design, promotion, implementation/application, monitoring and evaluation of grant programs.
- Provide model process templates can be customised to the requirements of individual grants programs.
- Provide guidance on systems, structures, tools and processes to successfully attract external funding.
- Assist councils with performance assessment, measurement and benchmarking, and with performance improvement.
- Advance the metropolitan, regional and rural local government sector as beneficiaries of the Best Practice Guide through best practice and continuous improvement across grants attraction, grants administration and the related customer experience.
