This is a notice for an upcoming procurement.
Further to the correspondence titled “Capital Facilities and Infrastructure Branch – Planned Upcoming Approaches to Market Notice (September 2021 Update)” issued on 01 September 2021 by the Department of Defence – Capital Facilities and Infrastructure Branch.
Potential tenderers are advised that the procurement strategy for the EST04824 (P0010) National Airfield Works Project – HMAS Albatross, RAAF Base Pearce, RAAF Base Richmond and RAAF Base Amberley involves the early engagement of up to four Head Contractors to provide buildability, constructability, programming, staging and risk mitigation advice during the Development Phase and subsequently deliver the works in the Delivery Phase, subject to Departmental, Government and Parliamentary Approvals.
Contractors will be required to demonstrate their capacity to deliver large scale airfield maintenance works as part of the Request for Tender response; for example, asphalt resurfacing of aircraft pavement, Aeronautical Ground Lighting and pavement drainage (including runway crossings). Further advice will be provided upon release of the Request for Tender; this is expected to occur in October 2021.
Total Project value is between $300 million to $500 million.
Each site value is between $50 million to $150 million
