Expression Of Interest - Aboriginal Artwork for Hay Health Service

⁠⁠⁠Located on the lands of the Wiradjuri and Nari Nari People, the Hay Health Service Redevelopment (the Redevelopment) is being delivered as part of the NSW Government’s $297M Multipurpose Service Program to provide health and aged care services for small and remote rural communities.

This health facility upgrade means it will meet the community’s healthcare needs as the population ages. The Hay Health Service is a part of the Murrumbidgee Local Health District.

Artists/creatives are invited to provide a creative response to Country and a sense of a warm welcome to Wiradjuri and Nari Nari mobs, the Traditional Custodians of the land, past, present and future, also acknowledging the contemporary Hay community and the many Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal families seeking care.

The newly commissioned work will be hung in the Hay Health Service Reception area.
