APRA is seeking an experienced individual to join the Superannuation Data Transformation (SDT) Project team within Data Analytics and Insights. As part of the team you will drive the future state for APRA superannuation reporting, enabling risk-based supervisory judgments and strategic decisions.

You will play a key role in shaping the enhancements to APRA’s superannuation data collection and reporting to support prudential supervision and the needs of other stakeholders including other Government agencies. You will collaborate with a wide range of APRA staff and industry stakeholders to identify gaps in the data collection and internal and external reports and formulate and prioritise proposals in response.

You will have the opportunity to shape a significant project for APRA that will enable improved transparency on the superannuation industry. You will have excellent problem-solving abilities, investigative and research skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels of business. Excellent organisational skills along with strong project and priority management are essential and a history of working in high performing teams will be highly regarded.

The successful candidate will have thorough understanding of superannuation combined with a strong background in analytical areas such as finance, economics, actuarial studies or mathematics. Relevant backgrounds may include consulting to the super industry, (senior) product roles across superannuation / wealth management.

Mandatory Requirements:
7+ years’ experience
Comfortable with data and reporting
Daily rates to be provided ex GST
