Supply, Installation and Maintenance of Parking Meters

Council is seeking submissions from appropriately qualified and experienced tenderers for the procurement of services to support the establishment of an integrated paid parking system in selected locations across the Local Government Area.

The tenderer will need to demonstrate an ability to supply and install technology that meets the specification, and also commit to a managed service for maintenance and system support over multiple years. The platform and service needs to be robust, secure and reliable to meet the expectations of Council and the community.

The service will include (but not limited to) the provision and installation of parking meters, integration with licence plate recognition systems, support phone application for payments, integrate with a Penalty Infringement Notice system, and ongoing maintenance of all hardware and software to provide this service for a fixed period.

The successful contractor will also provide customer service for faults and enquiries from the public. There are optional components to the contract that will help provide a complete service, including cash collection.
