Tender Description
Bundaberg Regional Council is seeking to award a Preferred Supplier Arrangement for the mowing and landscape maintenance activities for selected roadside service areas including urban roundabouts within Bundaberg City (18 sites). These activities include mowing, edging, snipping, landscaping (hedges) and irrigation maintenance.
Contracted service providers would be responsible for accessing personnel and equipment appropriate and fit for the purpose of fulfilling the requirements stipulated in the contract proposal. This would include, but not be limited to the following:
Skilled labour crew experienced in landscape management. Team of two to three employees would be desirable; The crew would be equipped with work vehicle and haulage and carrying ability;
Traffic management devices (compliant signage and bollards);
1 x push mower;
1 x edge trimmer/whipper snipper;
1 x edger;
1-2 x hedger;
1 x hand blower;
1 x knapsack/hand sprayer and measuring equipment (herbicide);
1 x basic irrigation repair kit;
Rubbish handling equipment (rubbish pickers/bags etc);
Hand tools which would include shovel/spade, secateurs, crowbar.
Servicing and ongoing maintenance of all equipment will be the responsibility of the contracted service provider. Consumable items such as petrol, two stoke oil, mower/edger blades, snip cord as well as herbicide (Glyphosate) would be supplied by the service provider and included in the supplier pricing.
