Tender Description
The scope of works includes removing high points along the creek/channel and the upgrade of water regulating structures to manage water levels in the wetland. The Department therefore needs to engage a suitably qualified Contractor to dredge the existing creek and upgrade the existing regulators in order to improve DEW’s ability to increase the variability and duration of water levels in the wetland.
These works will also increase benefits from Weir Pool Raise events, a separate agency initiative.
Tonkin Consulting were engaged under a seperate procurement to design these works. They have prepared drawings and technical specification detailing the works to be undertaken by the Construction Contractor.
