Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠City of Hobart is seeking tenders from experienced Civil and Turf Construction Contractors or similar organisations that have been involved with sportsfield construction to upgrade the playing surface of the No. 2 Oval at Sandown Park.

The key objectives of the upgrade are to:

  • Upgrade the playing surface to accommodate soccer, athletics field events and any other sporting activities currently conducted on the site or that could be played in the future.
  • Improve the quality of the playing surface.
  • Optimise the field of play on this site.
  • Provide a natural turf surface that can optimise the level of use on this site.
  • Address any existing problems and issues that exist on this site.
