Guflander Overhaul

⁠⁠⁠Queensland Rail invites offers to establish a Rollingstock Shortform Contract for overhaul of the Gulflander. A scope summary is included in the Preamble document.

This tender requires a suitably competent Tenderer to undertake the major overhaul works within a timely manner an indicative overhaul schedule has been provided within the Preamble document.

The scope applies to the RM93 Rail Motor and 1800 Series Carriages, all Scope of Works and associated documents and drawings are available via Ariba.

Queensland Rail invites prospective suppliers to attend the mandatory tender briefing/site visit for the Gulflander Overhaul project.
The purpose of the notification is to advise of the upcoming site visit/briefing which is to provide suppliers an overview of the scope for these works and provide details of the upcoming tender which will be released in late April-early May 2021. This notification should allow suppliers adequate time to organise transportation and accommodation for the site visit.

This briefing is also an opportunity for suppliers to early engage with the project team to better understand Queensland Rail requirements.
