The purpose of this notification is to provide suppliers notice of upcoming food supply tenders to be released by Metro North Hospital and Health Service (MNHHS) in May.
General Food Supplies – Request for Quote
Metro North Hospital and Health Service plan to release a general food supplies request for quote. To participate suppliers must have submitted an application for registration to Queensland Government’s Preferred Supplier Panel HSQ101256 for the provision of Groceries, Dairy and Beverages. In order to be successful for the MNHHS request for quote, the Supplier will need to have been successfully appointed to the Queensland Government Panel.

Fresh Food Supplies – Invitation to Offer
Metro North Hospital and Health Service plan to issue a fresh food supplies tender in conjunction with the general food supplies request for quote in May also.
Fresh food supplies are not covered under the Queensland Government Preferred Supplier Panel and therefore it is not a requirement to be registered to the panel to make a submission for fresh food supplies.
As a guide only, the scope of both tenders planned are outlined as follows:
1. General food supplies – all food categories with the exception of fresh food supplies below, manufactured and texture modified meals, speciality retail product and some dairy products.
2. Fresh food supplies – bakery, meat, fruit and vegetables fresh and processed including salads.
Metro North Hospital and Health Service reserve the right to vary, scope, timings or plans or any aspect of this notification as required at its discretion.
