The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) is seeking registrations of interest (ROI) from suitably qualified individuals, businesses or organisations in obtaining a lease over 53 Clive Street, Katanning. The vacant site within the town has in the past been used as a depot and store area by DBCA.
The former depot comprises of a fenced yard which is 1214 square metres and has front (road access) and rear entrance (lane way). There is a steel framed, galvanised iron cladded shed with concrete floors measuring 242.3 square metres. The shed is broken into 2 sections with 3 sliding door entries. There is also a brick toilet block comprising of two separate toilets and a shower, as well as a covered wash down bay measuring 36.7 square metres.
53 Clive Street, Katanning is owned in freehold by the Conservation and Land Management Executive Body and managed by DBCA. Any deed of lease for the area must be "in the public interest” under the Conservation and Land Management Act 1984.
