Tender Description
Carrathool Shire Council is calling tenders for the stabilisation of two sections of riverbank at Hillston located in the LGA area of Carrathool NSW.
The project consists of the installation of Rock rip-rap on the lower bank with re-vegetation on the upper bank. Graded rock rip-rap with a median size of 200mm placed at the toe of the riverbank below the waterline and extending approximately 2m above the normal dry weather river level. The rip-rap blanket should be cleared of rubbish and scraped clean as necessary, avoiding significant woody specie.
The upper 150mm of soil should be tilled then revegetated with native species.
Council are calling for suitable and reliable contractors to undertake these major works.

Tenders must be submitted in accordance with the tender lodgement requirements contained in the tender package and be received by Council in full prior to 12.00 noon Friday 18 June 2021.
