Tender Description
The project involves the relining of Warwick WTP original clarifier concrete structure and design and installation of access walkway, surrounding platform, launders, hood, drive mechanism and ancillary steelworks. The Contractor shall assess the existing structure together with the conditional report to determine its integrity and the type of works required to recommission the clarifier.
It is a requirement to ensure the hydraulic performance of the refurbished clarifier shall be same as the clarifier in operation.
The Principal expects that the construction will be carried out by an experienced Contractor with relevant knowledge, experience and expertise in the design and construction of municipal water treatment plant structures. Prior experience shall be demonstrated in submissions to the Principal for the evaluation process. The completed works must comply with Water Services Association of Australia Code and industry standards.
