Tender Description
The Department of Water and Environmental Regulation (DWER) is undertaking an Expression of Interest (EOI) process to assist with planning for the services to deliver Environmental Revegetation and Rehabilitation Fund (ERRF) projects. Further information about the proposed services required can be found in Part B of the Request document.
The purpose of ERRF is to establish native vegetation that restores the biodiversity values identified in the WA Environmental Offsets Register for native vegetation clearing permits. To complement the broad outcomes identified in State Recovery Plan implementation, projects funded from ERRF will be designed and delivered with a focus on creating jobs for young people, women, Aboriginal people, unemployed people, and in the regions of the State that have been most impacted by COVID-19. ERRF will also be structured to assist with the development of the ‘restoration economy’, building in training pathways and opportunities to increase capability within new social enterprises.
