Tender Description
Council is calling for quotations from suitably qualified and licensed tradespeople for the provision of kerb and gutter works, and footpath removal and replacement.
Maule Lane, Coonamble - Kerb and Gutter
Location: Maule Lane, Coonamble
Ch: 36m to 200m from intersection with Maule Street (164m total).
Scope:
- Remove existing kerb, gutter and base to a depth of 300mm below and dispose (including any disposal fees/charges)
- Import base material – 200mm DGS40 and 100mm Crusher Dust and compact in 100mm layers
- 100% compaction
- Install new kerb & gutter – match kerb height to existing (150mm)
- Backfill behind kerb & gutter with sandy loam
- Backfill in front of kerb & gutter to existing bitumen level with DGB20mm.
Maule Lane – Footpath (30m x 1m)
Scope:
Remove and dispose of existing footpath and replace, like for like.
All efforts to be made to remove kerb and gutter without damage to other Council infrastructure.
Any damage to non-Council infrastructure will be at the cost to the contractor.
Kindly submit a progress payment plan for any anticipated milestone payments with the quotation.
The successful contractor will be required to provide to Council a copy of relevant WHS documentation, Certificates of Currency for insurances and a Dial Before You Dig report, before commencement of work.
All works, materials, plant and traffic control to be the responsibility of the contractor.
Works are planned to commence early May 2021.
