Tender Description

Scope of Work

The works comprises

  • Winning, conditioning, loading and carting natural gravels along road alignment.
  • Construction of formation utilising material from the drains and imported material such that the finished road surface is above surrounding terrain level.
  • Placement and compaction of 200mm natural gravel basecourse to 96% MMDD
  • Dry Compaction of material (water is limited)
  • Supply of Traffic Management to complete the works
  • Establishment of bores as required, pumping and carting of construction water
  • Construction of offshoot drains to direct runoff into natural drainlines away from the
    roadway
  • Removal of unsuitable material from existing road alignment.
  • Finishing of Batters and Drains
