The Secure Cloud Strategy (SCS) released in 2017 has driven several initiatives to assist agencies to transition to the cloud and realise its transformation benefits. There have been shifts in the cloud maturity level across agencies and the government’s security settings since 2017, and today’s cloud offerings have also advanced.
The DTA is reviewing the SCS based on the current landscape and the evolving guidance and tools that agencies need. The DTA is seeking a provider to carry out more detailed discovery on the current landscape, including establishing the needs of government agencies at varying levels of maturity. Based on these findings, the provider is expected to present insights and recommendations that the DTA can use to assess whether a refresh of the SCS is required.
The DTA may engage a seller as a result of this ask the market process. This engagement will be under the comprehensive terms.
