Lane Cove Council will soon have a new fleet of waste and recycling trucks arriving to service the streets of Lane Cove. Council is looking to use the designs on the side of this truck fleet to creatively inspire conversations around waste and encourage pride in good recycling habits.
Council is seeking to commission a number of artists who can design original, colourful and appropriate works to be displayed on up to eight trucks. While most trucks service local streets, some will service specific areas such as parks, apartment blocks and bulky household waste collection.
This expression of interest process aims to identify artists suitable to develop designs for consideration by Council using the process outlined in this document.
