Tender Description

Mareeba Shire Council invites tenders from suitably qualified tenderers for the construction works required for the Chillagoe Bore and Pipeline project,

The Works include, but are not necessarily limited to, the supply of all materials, plant, and

labour of whatever kind necessary for the following:

Setting out of Works, establishment, and disestablishment.
Documentation, project management and compliance with all regulations.
Clearing of pipeline route.
Trenching, supply, and installation of DN150 oPVC/DICL pipeline.
Design, supply, and installation of PE100 DN180 HDD underbore.
Construction of concrete slab for bore headworks.
Design, supply, and installation of shed structure at bore headworks.
Collection of principal supplied items from MSC Depot.
Supply and replacement of existing pump cabling with new pump cables as nominated in
the design in accordance with manufacturers specifications
Installation of submersible bore pump within existing bore housing.
Connection to existing raw water network.
Supply and installation of bore headworks mains switchboard and diesel generator.
Liaison with MSC nominated SCADA Integrator during commissioning.
Liaison with Ergon for mains power connection.
Protection works to existing underground assets of other authorities.
Reinstatement of works damaged by the construction activities.
Inspection, testing and commissioning.
Maintenance of works through defects liability period.

Any other item included in the contract documents and not detailed above.
