At the time of publishing this invitation to register an interest, the services includes the following:

Facilities management services to the village including the provision of all equipment, materials, freight, consumables and foodstuff necessary to facilitate the scope of services.
1) THESE SERVICES INCLUDE:
a) Accommodation allocation, administration and control;
b) Catering;
c) Cleaning and Janitorial;
d) Laundry;
e) Waste management;
f) Retail and user pays;
g) Tavern and Liquor Licence;
h) Health and lifestyle;
i) Swimming pool management; and
j) Recycling Services

2) ESTIMATED COMMENCEMENT DATE: February 2023

3) APPLICABLE STANDARDS: The following industry standards must be complied with during the delivery of the Services:
a) Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code;
b) Food Act 2008 (WA);
c) Occupational Safety and Health Regulations 1996 (WA);
d) Mines Safety and Inspection Act 1994 (WA);
e) Mines Safety and Inspection Regulations 1995 (WA);
f) Dangerous Goods Safety (Storage and Handling of non-explosives) Regulation 2007 (WA);
g) Health (Pesticides) Regulations 2011 (WA);
h) Poisons Regulations 1965 (WA);
i) Code of Practice, Work Safe Western Australia;
j) Health (Aquatic Facilities) Regulations 2007;
k) Liquor Licensing Control Act 1988 (WA); and
l) All particular or special requirements of the local government legislation.

4) PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
a) Willingness to work collaboratively with Aboriginal companies, personnel and Native Title Groups;
b) Previous work history working with a 700+ residents / night in the Pilbara Region;
c) Mature operating systems for Health and Safety and People Management;
d) Ability to supply dedicated resources to the Fortescue Portfolio;
e) Minimum standard HAACP Food safety management procedures and systems;
f) Policies and procedures in place that consider eradication of Modern Slavery, local supply chain and Environmental Sustainability (No plastics / Glass (in tavern / retail or dining room))
