AgriFutures Expression of Interest (EOI) - Industrial Hemp Seed Varieties Trials

⁠⁠⁠AgriFutures Australia is calling for expressions of interest from eligible parties to submit industrial hemp seed varieties for testing in its Industrial Hemp Variety Trial (IHVT) project.

Purpose of EOI

Recently, AgriFutures Australia has been consulting with Australian developers and importers of industrial hemp varieties and received strong interest to participate in the project.  The purpose of this call for expressions of interest is to reach out to those companies which AgriFutures Australia has not yet formally contacted and provide an opportunity to register their interest to supply varieties for testing in IHVT.

A response to this EOI constitutes a registration of interest. It does not obligate respondents to nominate varieties nor will AgriFutures Australia be obliged to include varieties of the Respondent in any industrial hemp it manages.

Next steps post EOI

At the conclusion of this EOI, AgriFutures Australia will create a list of potential seed suppliers. Once the trial protocols are developed, AgriFutures Australia will invite the entities on the list to enter into a participation agreement with AgriFutures and nominate varieties to individual trial sites.
