Australian Catholic University (ACU) was established in 1990 through incorporation as a public company limited by guarantee, incorporated pursuant to the Corporations Act. ACU is a public university, funded by the Commonwealth Government, and is open to students and staff of all religious beliefs.
ACU has a number of research institutes and four (4) faculties: Education and Arts, Health Sciences, Law and Business and Theology and Philosophy.
The University has approximately 35,000 students and 2,500 staff spread across seven (7) campuses: Melbourne, Ballarat, Strathfield, North Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra, and Adelaide. Headquarters are located in North Sydney.
ACU is seeking a suitably qualified person/s or organisation to:
· Review ACU’s commercial activities defined as activities other than its principal function (commercial revenue) in the context of its size, nature, and growth potential.
· Recommend a solution adequate to meet the specified requirements.
· Recommend an implementation plan, including estimated cost, resources required and time-frame.
ACU seeks a service provider with sufficient detailed market knowledge to be able to recommend a solution or to short-list several viable options for consideration that would meet the specified requirements.
