Request For Interest - Provision of Mudgee Regional Art Gallery Cafe Occupation

⁠⁠⁠The Mudgee Regional Art Gallery is currently under construction and comprises a pre-existing heritage listed building adjoining a purpose built, state of the art, gallery space to share with Mudgee Region Tourism and a café operator.

The café area will be operating on the eastern side of the new facility, with access from both Douro and Market Streets. Mid-Western Regional Council (MWRC) is now seeking interested persons to lease and operate the gallery café facility.

It is expected that the café will serve food prepared off-site and be available on display for purchase to eat-in or takeaway. Coffees and other beverages to be prepared fresh on-site.

The licence to operate the café is offered for a two year period with an option to renew for a further two years. The commencement date and access prior to operation will be negotiated with the successful applicant and will also be based upon completion of construction and fit-out.

Applicants should be available to commence operation from early August 2021.

The lessee agrees to pay MWRC a rental amount per week; the proposed amount to be submitted as part of this application.
