Tender Description
This Registration of Interest is for the design, construction and consenting (Building Consent) for two footbridges approximately 23m each and the associated paths to connect the bridges.
The Contract Price for the Contract will be set at $600,000 + GST and the Tenderers will be required to specify what they can provide for that value. More detail will be provided in the second stage Request for Tender (RFT) documentation. However, a brief summary is as follows:
1. A list of rankings will be provided as to what the Principal's priorities are.
2. The Tenderer that provides the highest level on the priority list will be evaluated higher.
3. If multiple Tenderers can provide the same quantum of scope on the priority list then the Tenderers will be evaluated against their programme, life cycle maintenance costs, and social procurement objectives.
4. The Principal reserves the right to negotiate with the Tenderer that they assess to provide the best value.
The Principal has prepared the following information for the Tender:
a) Concept drawings (provided at this stage)
b) Survey data of the sites.
c) Geotechnical information of the foundation locations (including machine drilled boreholes).
The Principal is also preparing a Resource Consent application for the scope of works.
The works are funded as a MBIE Shovel Ready project therefore there is a goal to complete the project by 17th December 2021. However, Tenders with a programme up to 25th February will be considered.
