Tender Description

The Australian Government is funding a trial of eight adult mental health centres across Australia, with one to be established in each state and territory. Launceston has been chosen as the location for the Tasmanian centre.
The Centre will provide a welcoming entry point to the mental health system for adults:
- looking for information/advice regarding their or someone else's mental health
- needing short and/or medium-term care while awaiting longer-term care
- seeking immediate help in times of crisis or distress.
It will be a welcoming, safe, and easy-to-identify entry point for adults in distress or crisis who need immediate care, support or information. Primary Health Tasmania seeks a suitably qualified organisation to be the Lead Agency of the Launceston Adult Mental Health Centre.
To participate in this process, organisations must be able to commit to a two staged procurement process. The first stage being an Expression of Interest followed by a Request for Tender.

It is expected that the Lead Agency will work with Primary Health Tasmania, local service providers, lived experience representatives and other relevant key stakeholders to develop and deliver the activities within the parameters described in the Service Model.
Please proceed to the Evaluation Portal to retrieve the tender documents. Further information and guidance regarding this service is available in the attached REOI service provider specification and associated appendices.
