Northern Beaches Council RFT 2020/234 SERVICES FOR FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS AND EQUIPMENT

SERVICE REQUIRED:
Northern Beaches Council (Council) invites tenders for the provision of servicing of fire equipment. The scope of the tender includes periodic and ad-hoc maintenance, testing and certification of the following but not limited to:
- Fire Detection and Occupant Warning Systems
- Portable Fire Fighting Equipment
- Fire Hydrant Systems and hose reels
- Hydrant Booster pumps
- Sprinkler Systems
- Paths of Travel
- Fire door/smoke seals
- Compliance/integration of automatic doors and mechanical exhaust systems
- Ensuring compliance with the relevant Australian Standards or Building Codes, certification preparation and timely issue of Annual Fire Safety Statements
The Contract term will be 2 years, with an extension at Council's option of 1+1+1 years

SITE BRIEFING:
A Site briefing will be held on 09 March 2021 at the Civic Centre, 75 Pittwater Road, Dee Why at 10.00am. Tenderers should ensure they review the RFT documents and understand the scope of work before attending the briefing. (See Part A5 - Conditions of Tender for details).
The Tenderer MUST advise Facilities Help Desk on 02 8495 6338 of the number and names of attendees by 05 March 2021.
CLOSING DATE AND TIME:
Request For Tender close at 2pm on 25 March 2021 and must be fully received by this time.
LODGEMENT:
Submissions should be lodged in the electronic tender box or in the physical tender box at Northern Beaches Council, Civic Centre, 725 Pittwater Road, Dee Why, NSW 2099 by the time and date nominated. Late submissions may not be accepted.
