Tenders are invited to undertaking a project to Back Capture Digitisation of hardcopy, historic files.
1. Background
Hunter Water is currently undertaking a project to Back Capture Digitisation of hardcopy, historic files. Stage 2 of the Project has now been completed, which consisted of 44,593 "Blue Files" previously stored at Hunter Water offices at the Burwood Beach wastewater treatment plant. Hunter Water is now looking to progress with the next collection of hard copy Blue Files stored in the Basement File Room at its Honeysuckle Drive Office. The scope of work for this engagement is Stage 3 of the Digitisation project, which consists of approx. 64,727 "Blue files", which hold approx. 5 million pages of information.
The primary drivers for back capture are to:
A. Protect against catastrophic loss of information;
B. Repurpose the space occupied by these files.

1 year contract period with 3x1 year performance based extension options

Tenders close at 2pm on Monday 22 March 2021, and submissions must be fully received by this time.

(c.) Mandatory Site Visit
All tenderers are required to attend a mandatory site visit at Hunter Water Head Office located at 36 Honeysuckle Drive Newcastle West.
Tenderers must register their interest by COB 4 March 2021 by contacting Amanda Pfeiffer on 0417 173 821 or email amanda.pfeiffer@hunterwater.com.au. Once registered tenderers will be informed of the time of the site visit. Site visits are expected to take place from 8 to 12 March 2021
Only submissions made from tenderers who have inspected the site will be eligible to participate in the tender process.
