Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of the relocation and refurbishment of a residence at  Aratula State School, located at  41 Elizabeth St, Aratula QLD 4309 as part of the School Infrastructure Enhancement Program (SIEP) program.

 
The scope of the project generally includes the relocation of a timber framed residentioal building within the school site, internal refurbishment works to create a new administration space for the school, and external site works including stairs, new carpark, fencing and DDA compliant walkway. All works are to be completed by June 2021.
 
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
 
  • Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $1 million
QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
