Tender Description
TasRail is currently seeking the services of experienced, qualified and competent Contractors, with rail experience, to pre-qualify and tender rates for quoting to undertake minor or short notice track works in support of the infrastructure Investment Program (IIP).
The Scope of work comprises:
- Minor rail and civil works in support of the Infrastructure Investment Program
- Correction of single points of failure with elevated priorities
- Distribution and layout or recovery of materials
- Support works for Tamping Operations
- Drainage works
- Line of sight improvements works
- Erection of signage
- Minor or temporary fencing
The scope of works document also outlines the expectations and qualifications required of participating Contractor and describes the nature of works to be undertaken.
Contractors must have rail Safeworking resources to support their work.
A pre-tender briefing will be conducted in Launceston on 4 March at 9am.
Tenderers are to demonstrate in their submission their support of Tasmanian industry and business, as required by the Tasmanian Government Buy Local Policy, and comply with TasRails's Contractor Management System.
