Tenders are invited for the supply, delivery and 5 years warranty for Provision of Cisco Switches and Firewall Hardware in accordance with the Bill of Materials (BOM) outlined in this document.

1. Background
The ICT Network security platform is built on a mix of physical & virtual firewalls evenly dispersed across the Primary and Secondary Data Centres.
The key purpose of this project is to replace the physical appliances of Perimeter and Data Centre firewalls to
· Improve network resilience & security performance on Hunter Water's ICT network;
· Achieve greater control & visibility of users, threats, devices & vulnerabilities;
· Provide required capacity to meet the ongoing and future demands on security of network;
· Enable network scalability by laying foundation for future program of works.

2. Scope
The scope includes but is not limited to the supply, delivery and warranty for:
· Cisco Perimeter and Data Centre Firewall Appliances and software including 5-year warranty
· Cisco rack switches and its software with 5-year warranty.
Other vendor hardware solutions will not be accepted.

3. Duration of Contract
The time for practical completion will be 6 weeks from the Contract commencement date.

a.) Closing Date and Time
Tenders close 10 March 2021 at 2pm, and submissions must be fully received by this time. Hunter Water is not bound to accept the lowest priced Tender or all or any part of a Tender and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Tender process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit (refer to Conditions of Tendering for further details).
