Tender Description
Recovery planning for Tasmanian devils requires a contemporary assessment of the potential future viability of wild devils. The assessment needs to also account for the spatial distribution of devils across the island of Tasmania and potential for differential impact of devil facial tumour diseases. This spatial population viability analysis will be used as the basis of a structured decision-making approach to management of devils.
Under the Save the Tasmanian Devil Program, the Department seeks to engage a suitably qualified specialist/s to construct the spatial model for the population viability analysis.
