Tender Description
The South Australian Department for Energy and Mining and Department of Human Services are seeking expressions of interest for solar photovoltaic (PV) suppliers to supply and install medium to large rooftop solar systems on eligible residential households in two South Australian regions under a new program called Switch to Solar.
This will include providing and installing high quality solar systems and providing post installation customer service and warranty.
The successful supplier(s) will supply and install up to one thousand (1,000) solar PV systems on the properties of concession customers within 12 months.
Two broad regions (one metropolitan and one regional) have been determined for the program.
DEM will consider responses from suppliers who are able to supply and install systems for one region or both or for part of a region, however this needs to be made clear in the supplier’s response.
Suppliers will be expected to provide an indicative price on the standard supply and installation price for a 3 kilowatt (kW) solar PV system as well as possible add on products such as customer monitoring.
